Today it is my birthday, I’ve chalked another year
So many wishes from my friends, I shed a little tear Lunch with family perked me up, they stand out from the crowd They work so hard and do their best, they always make me proud At my seasoned age of xx, the days just seem to fly You realise your nearer to the day your going to die So whatever life throws my way I have to persevere Cause there’s so much else to celebrate this special time of year |
